including the Utah State University and NEHMA logo, are registered and/or
unregistered common law trademarks. The logos of third parties may also
be displayed on this Web site. Nothing contained in this Web site should
be construed as granting, by implication or otherwise, any license or
right to use any logos displayed on this Web site without the express
written permission of NEHMA or any third party that may own the logos
displayed on the site. Any unauthorized use of the logos or any other
materials, except as authorized in these Policies, is strictly prohibited.
IMAGE
AND RIGHTS REQUESTS
Procedures
All requests for permission to reproduce images must
be submitted in writing and should include the following information:
description of desired image (artist, title and date of work, accession
number, if known)format desired (slide, 4x5 color transparency, black-and-white
photograph, digital file)description of proposed use (nature of the publication,
print run, publication date, title, author, and location of the image
within the publication)
Permission for such use is granted on a case-by-case basis and at the
sole discretion of NEHMA. For all other requests, please provide as much
detailed information as possible concerning the image and the proposed
use. If no photography exists for the image you request, we may be able
to photograph the object for an additional fee.
Formats
NEHMA provides images in a number of formats, including
4 x 5 color transparencies, black-and-white photographs, and color slides.
NEHMA may also offer digital files for certain uses. Color transparencies
are loaned for a four-month period. Additional rental time is available
for a nominal fee. Slides are provided for personal or scholarly use only;
reproductions are not permitted from this medium.
Payment
Upon receipt of your request, we will send you an invoice
outlining any fees due and our reproduction guidelines. We accept payment
by credit card in U.S. dollars and by money order or check drawn on a
U.S. bank, payable to “Nora Eccles Harrison Museum of Art.” Fees are non
refundable, and permission is granted for one edition, one use only. Payment
is required prior to release of all photographic material.
Use
In return for the use-fee payment, NEHMA grants approval only to the extent
of its rights relating to the request. Certain works of art, as well as
photographs of those works, may be protected by copyright, trademark,
or related interests not owned by NEHMA . The applicant is responsible
for securing any other necessary permissions. NEHMA grants permission
only for the use of color transparencies, black-and-white copy photographs,
and digital files obtained from the Nora Eccles Harrison Museum of Art.

Yes, if there is no charge to the user and if electronic distribution
is limited to educational use for a specific purpose or duration. The images

VISITOR POLICY
Photography Policy
Still photography is permitted for private, noncommercial use only
in the Museum's galleries devoted to the permanent collection. Photography
is not permitted in special exhibition galleries; works of art on loan from
private collections or other institutions may not be photographed. No photographs
taken in the Museum may be reproduced, distributed, or sold without permission
from the Museum. The use of a flash, tripods, monopods, and movie and video
cameras are strictly prohibited.
